Mr. Gary Linares - Chief Operations Officer

Gary Linares, Founder of GL Square, brings over 30 years of construction experience and a passion for workforce development, mentoring hundreds in the industry. Today, Gary applies that broad experience to community advocacy and creative consulting services at GL Square Consulting. Beginning his career as a construction worker, he developed a passion for mentoring and workforce development training, having trained thousands of individuals and opening doors for many in the construction field. He now focuses on community advocacy and consulting, overseeing operations, client relationships, and workforce training at GL Square Consulting. His approach is pragmatic and compassionate, enabling each individual to thrive. OSHA- and NCCER-certified, Gary offers courses like SST-10, Suspended Scaffold and Site Safety Training, reflecting his commitment to safety and excellence. His leadership style fosters growth, strengthening communities across New York City.

Ivette Guzman-Cintron, PhD - Grants Operations Lead

Ivette is a dynamic and accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in Business Consulting, Project Management, Training & Curriculum Development, and Grants Administration. As a Grants Operations Lead, she has mastered every stage of the grants lifecycle—from identifying funding opportunities and crafting compelling proposals to overseeing compliance and ensuring the efficient management of awarded funds. Her strategic approach and attention to detail have contributed to a high success rate in securing federal, state, and private grants for nonprofit and educational organizations. Ivette's PhD in Education, combined with her working experience in Business Administration, Information Technology, and Grants Administration equips her with a unique blend of analytical and creative skills.
